What is the best way to run the battery of a depleted unit?

Simply turn on the unit and place it on the charging cradle when the cradle is unplugged. IMPORTANT: Do not leave the unit in the "ON" position after the battery is depleted. Once the battery is depleted, immediately turn the switch to "OFF" and plug in the cradle to fully recharge it.
