My Clipper/Trimmer seems to pull the hair rather than cut it – does this mean it needs new blades?
This is not a simple answer as several factors influence the cutting performance of your clipper: 1) Apply 2 drops of clipper oil to the blades and test cut again. (Oil lubricates the blades and allows them to run at the correct speed. It also helps the clipper run cooler.) Refer to our Blade Care Guideline. 2) For CORDED CLIPPERS ONLY - To ensure your clipper is running at maximum power you will have to tune it to the power supply in your location. (This is because our power supply varies by +/- 10%) You will need a Flat Head or Phillips Head screw driver to do the adjustment. \ Watch Video Tutorial
