This will depend on the coat type, condition of the coat, and blade maintenance. If the pet being clipped has a fine coat type, sharpening or changing the blades approximately every 6 months is recommended. If the coat is thick, coarse, or curly we suggest changing or sharpening the blades every 1-3 months.
